Drone Services of SW Florida is a family-owned business by Robert Dillon, Ph.D. and Janet Dillon, a husband & wife team. Starting in Year 2018, we used our Mavic Air 2 (a high quality and versatile drone) as a hobby filming our vacations and trips. After taking thousands of aerial photos and hundreds of videos, the hobby transpired into a local business serving the SW Florida region. You can see our wonderful videos and how we work as a team in the portfolio section of the website.

Dr. Robert Dillon is FAA certified drone pilot (license #4458999). Robert has three degrees in the fields of science: Bachelor's degree in Earth Science from the University of New Orleans, and a Master of Science degree and Doctorate degree in Geology & Geophysics from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, with specialties in geochemistry, geohydrology, and geophysics. Robert graduated magna cum laude in his post-graduate degrees.

Robert's background and passions are very diverse. As a geologist, he has taught at five universities and academic institutions with a total of 63 classes as an Adjunct Professor. He also worked for fifteen years as a geologist for the Federal Government (US Geological Survey) and for three years in the private industry (Texaco, Inc.).

Since year 2001, he has developed and manages a network of market timing services in the stock market (TSPFundTrading.com, TSPMarketTiming.com, StockMarketTiming.com, QQQTrading.com, GoldSilverSystem.com, and ETFTiming.com). These services do not require a lot of time to manage, since he is very well organized and has perfected his technique.

Robert is also a master fingerstyle guitarist (GuitarSolo.com & AcousticSunset.com) who has been featured in the Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine and has composed over 30 original innovative compositions. In some of his drone videos, you will hear his beautifully performed fingerstyle music. Upon request, he can add some of his music in videos for an additional fee.


Introduction

Technological advances have made it efficient and cost effective to take pictures and videos from drones, aka Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). We use two high-quality DJI Drones: the Mavic Air 2 — a very versatile drone with 4K resolution, and the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced — having thermal and zoom capabilities, and 4K resolution. Our customers can all benefit from the images and information obtained from using UAS technology.
